Collection: John Raynes (1929–2019)

An internationally exhibited painter and illustrator, John studied at the Royal College of Art before building a decades-long career in illustration. Later returning full-time to painting, he gained recognition from the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour and participated in the BBC’s “Star Portraits.” His work spanned continents and mediums, always marked by strong draftsmanship and expressive technique.
