Collection: Andrew Tozer: September 2026 Solo

This new collection from Andrew explores the ever-changing moods of the landscape, from quiet and contemplative moments to paintings that feel full of movement and energy.

Across a range of scales and mediums, the collection captures the changing character of weather and light. Alongside larger, more expansive landscapes are intimate paintings, watercolours and pen and ink works that bring a fresh sense of energy to the collection.

A particular focus throughout is the idea of ‘Paint as Weather’, with expressive brushwork and the physical quality of the paint conveying the movement, turbulence, luminosity and weight of the landscape.

'I am incredibly happy with this collection because it feels open-ended. It contains a number of departure points that I can follow in different directions. There is room for intimacy and exuberance, quietness and drama, drawing and painting, restraint and freedom. Most importantly, it feels as though there are ideas here that will keep me interested for a long time to come.' — Andrew Tozer
