We are so excited to invite you to a much-anticipated solo exhibition by Hazel Ashe.
Working primarily in oils, Hazel’s practice explores the Cornish coastline, capturing the dynamic relationship between sea, sky and rock formations. Drawing from sketches made on location, often in areas such as Kynance and the North Coast, her paintings bring a sense of immediacy and atmosphere to the studio.
“This body of work continues my exploration of light and the power of the sea, capturing the movement of a wave in a single moment. Working across changing seasons and times of day, I’m drawn to the ever-shifting coastline, where no two waves are the same.
