Large Tsubo Jar

Andrew works in stoneware, producing a range of functional items and also larger individual pieces. He is currently obsessed with ' tsubo' ; thrown jars either made in one piece or, for the larger sizes, thrown in two pieces and joined. This blue vessel is engraved with repeated patterns giving the form a dynamic and expressive energy.
