Ted Dyer (b. 1940) is a British painter born in Bristol and has lived and worked in Cornwall since 1972. He has exhibited for over 50 years and is widely collected in the UK and internationally. His work has been distributed through exhibitions, publications and fine-art prints.

Often referred to as ‘The Cornish Impressionist’, Dyer’s practice focuses on landscapes and coastal scenes of the South West Peninsula. His paintings are characterised by balanced compositions, subtle colour harmonies and a considered use of light. Influenced by a range of artistic movements, his work combines observational painting with a narrative approach to place.
