Collection: Amanda Hoskin

Amanda Hoskin is a contemporary landscape painter born and raised in Cornwall. She was educated at Tremough Convent before studying at Falmouth School of Art, Chelsea College of Art and Cornwall College. She returned to Cornwall in the 1990s, where she developed her impressionistic style and continues to live and work. 

Her practice focuses on coastal and rural landscapes, with particular attention to changing light and weather conditions. Characterised by expressive handling of paint and an emphasis on atmosphere, her work explores the relationship between landscape and memory through observational painting.
