Join us for an exclusive debut solo exhibition by award-winning oil painter, Johnty Robinson.
Johnty’s work has already enjoyed incredible success during his first eighteen months with us, establishing him as an exciting emerging voice in contemporary painting. Working across still life and landscape, Johnty combines traditional training with a contemporary approach. Inspired by the Cornish landscape and everyday objects, his work focuses on observation, light, atmosphere and tone.
His work invites us to pause and look closely, finding richness, mood and beauty in the familiar. He has fittingly titled the exhibition, ‘Noticing’. Classically trained at the London Fine Art Studios Atelier, where he later taught, Johnty was awarded two scholarships by the De Laszlo Foundation. In 2025, he received the Winsor & Newton Young Artist Award at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters’ Annual Exhibition.
‘Noticing’ will include 20 paintings and will be available to purchase from 6pm on Friday 23rd October. Due to the highly sought-after nature of Johnty’s work, the first hour will be an exclusive in-gallery release, giving you first access to the collection before it launches online to our wider audience at 7pm.
