Collection: Aisleigh Anne

Aisleigh Anne is a contemporary mixed-media landscape painter. She has been represented by Beside The Wave Gallery since 2024. Raised in South Devon and now based in Cornwall, she develops richly layered mixed-media paintings that combine texture, gesture and subtle tonal variation to evoke mood, movement and the shifting energy of the natural environment. Working intuitively, she creates atmospheric pieces through expressive mark-making and instinctive layering.

Aisleigh was recently featured in Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year 2026  further highlighting her distinctive and expressive approach to contemporary landscape painting.

“Colour plays a central role in my work and is closely linked to emotion. As a colourist, I use colour intuitively, experimenting with balance and contrast to create different moods and energy - from calm and stillness to warmth and gentle uplift. Through expressive mark making and the use of mixed media I aim to capture the essence and energy of a place.”
